Karena terlalu fokus pada smartphone, mereka tak memperhatikan lingkungan sekitar dan terjatuh dari tebing setinggi lebih dari 20 meter. Untungnya, meski terjatuh mereka tetap selamat dan hanya mengalami cedera ringan. Saat dimintai keterangan, kedua pemuda ini mengaku sengaja melompati pagar untuk menuju area tebing yang berbahaya. Alasannya, yakni mengejar Pokemon yang menurut peta dalam game berada di area tersebut.
