You play Aveline de Grandpré, a young lady born into a wealthy father and slave mother. Like AC3s protagonist Connor Kenway, shes of mixed race and mixed loyalties. Unlike Connor, who incidentally puts inside a Jar-Jar-Binks-style cameo here, shes likeable.
