This basic premise is great and some thing i was sure i would enjoy here a VR racing game following the stylr of F-Zero with what appears to be very smooth and high speed racing along with inter vehicular combat what not to like Unfortunately my hopes were quickly dashed once i started it up.

In Virtual Reality after launching the game you see a main menu that you dont immediately Know how to navigate in order to use the menus you have to use a rather strange combination of pointing at things with your and choosing things with your head and Choosing things with the game pad its really really strange perhaps it makes sense with a mouse and keyboard but here its just odd. you do get used to it though and i was able to navigate around okay. But i had learn how to use menu Consider that for moment. When the race starts you drift around a corner at 500 mph activate turbo boost and blast through the second Barrier you lock eyes on your opponents and the laser mounted on your hood follow your vision. a few crisp bursts and your are doding a tumbling mass of fire No time to marvel that next corner is coming fast as you race on track with more twists and loops than a roller coaster.
