Menurut laporan dari CNN, biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat satu unit iPhone 7 adalah sekitar Rp 4 juta, untuk internal memory 128GB. Biaya itu dibutuhkan untuk membeli komponen seperti layar, papan sirkuit, hingga baterai.

Bandingkan dengan harga jual iPhone 7 yang mulai dari sekitar Rp 8,5 juta. Artinya, harga itu menjadi lebih dari dua kali lipat lebih mahal.

Meski begitu, perlu diingat bahwa Apple juga membutuhkan biaya untuk perakitan, software, marketing dan lainnya.
